What is Rhodium plated?

 

Rhodium is a precious metal, a member of the platinum family.  Rhodium plating on sterling silver makes our jewelry more scratch resistant and less prone to tarnishing. 

 

It is natural for sterling silver to oxidize over time when exposed to chemicals, water or air. To help preserve quality, all jewelry should be removed before exercising, swimming, showering etc. Avoid exposure to lotion and perfumes. With proper care your jewels will retain their beauty.
